G108 TimeMachine
Hybrid Delay Unit
Overview
The G108 TimeMachine audio module is a comprehensive hybrid delay unit in HP16 format.
The module uses digital delay lines with analogue controls. Short and long delay modes allow creating delay, echo, reverb, vibrato, or chorus effects. Creative combinations of the controls create space-age psychedelic sounds.
An LFO generates square or triangle waves from 0.3Hz to 25Hz to modulate the delay for reverb, vibrato, and chorus style effects. The LFO-CV input enables even more creative sound ideas.
The wet-only output allows separate signal paths for the dry and wet sounds.
Controls
- Control
- Description
- Delay ➤
- Sets the delay between the original and delayed signals. Ranges from 60msec to 2000msec.
- Repeats ➤
- Sets how much of the delayed signal is fed back into the delay line. Ranges from zero (delay only), through reverb and echo, all the way to self-oscillation.
- Mix ➤
- Sets how much of the delayed signal is mixed with the original signal.
- Rate ➤
- LFO rate, ranges from 0.3Hz to 25Hz.
- Depth ➤
- LFO depth. Higher control settings increase the modulation of the delay time.
- Long / Short ➤
- Select between short and long delays. For the same settings, ‘Long’ generates a delays twice as long as ‘Short’
- Square / Triangle ➤
- Select between a square and triangle waveform generated by the LFO
